In addition to developing its own Position Statements, the Landscape Institute regularly responds to public policy consultations issued by Government departments and agencies through its Policy and Technical Committees. Committee members are advised by Secretariat staff of any new national policy consultations, and they then decide on the nature of the LI's response.
It is only with the active participation and contributions of its members that the Landscape Institute can develop informed and persuasive consultation responses. These responses are one way in which the Landscape Institute seeks to influence to the areas of policy that have implications for the profession, and the LI's core objectives.
Members are always welcome to submit their views - further information on how to contribute to current consultations can be found in the members area.
