Branches provide membership services, events and support to members of the Institute at a local level, encourage and provide a professional network.
Events are an important element of the Branches activities and include CPD talks and seminars, P2C workshops and social events.
With support from the secretariat the Branches are also able represent members of the Institute at a local level on consultation responses, on a range of policy issues, inter professionally, and promote the profession to a range of audiences.
Branches are made up of a Committee who are elected annually by the members in that branch. If any member is interested in organising an event or helping the Branch in any capacity they are always welcome and contact detail can be found on the individual Branch websites.
Each Branch develops a yearly Action Plan taking guidance from the Landscape Institute Development Plan which sets out their activities for the year.
